Regional (West) Sales Manager

‍Key Responsibilities

• Implement the strategic sales plans for our western sales region that successfully achieve business objectives
• Report to Sales Director for current sales status and changes
• Coordinate professional and personalized delivery of each aircraft to their respective owners and a planned follow up with each customer at regular intervals
• Develop and maintain positive long-term relationships with key regional clients
• Coordinate regional sales strategies and market analysis to the Sales Director and Tamarack leadership team
• Provide regional operating budget feedback
• Use available data to accurately define a regional sales strategy and performance goals
• Work closely with Marketing Team to optimize marketing outreach and drive sales
• Assist in representing Tamarack at major industry tradeshows such as NBAA, owner organization conventions such as Citation Jet Pilots Association, and dealer sponsored events
• Deliver regional presentations at industry events on Tamarack technology and programs
• Ensure that leads, sale activity, communication and outcomes are tracked in our CRM tool, Salesforce, in an accurate and timely fashion
• Other duties as assigned by Sales Director

‍Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, preferably the aviation business
• Previous experience in demonstrating ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to staff members at every level of the organization
• Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients
• Demonstrated skill in coordinating and closing on critical sales contracts
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Experience using CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
• Background knowledge and experience in the aviation industry
• Pilot’s license required, with CE-525 series or other light jet experience strongly preferred
• This is a remote position for individuals located in California or Texas

• Candidate must have or have the ability to obtain a US passport
• Pay commensurate with experience and skill
• Periodic travel should be expected
