Portable Starlink setups proved the performance. Tamarack AirConnect delivers it properly.
For owner-operators, the real measure of in-flight connectivity isn't bandwidth, it's whether the people on board can work, stream, and stay in touch the way they can on the ground. Tamarack AirConnect delivers that experience consistently, every flight, without requiring your passengers to manage a device sitting on the glareshield.
TamarackAirConnect is engineered for a streamlined installation at a Tamarack-authorized service facility, targeting a typical shop time of three days. Once installed, it's a certified part of your aircraft with documentation, continued airworthiness support, and the backing of Tamarack's FAA Repair Station. No suction cups. No cables to manage. No workarounds.
Tamarack has certified and installed Active Winglet upgrades on more than 200 Citation aircraft worldwide. The company produces modifications under FAA production approvals and operates an FAA Repair Station in Sandpoint, Idaho. Tamarack AirConnect is built on the same engineering discipline and regulatory infrastructure.
Tamarack AirConnect is designed to be compatible with two leading Low Earth Orbit satellite networks. Select the service plan that fits your routes, your operation, and your budget — and contract directly with your provider of choice.

Once FAA STC certification is achieved, your aircraft is scheduled for a three-day installation at a Tamarack-authorized service facility. The system is installed, documented, and signed off as a permanent, certified part of your aircraft.
Select and activate your preferred LEO satellite service plan directly with your chosen provider. No portable equipment to manage. No cables to stow. Just full-speed, always-on connectivity wherever your Citation takes you.

A Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) is the FAA's formal authorization for a specific modification to be made to a certificated aircraft. It is the legal and regulatory foundation for any avionics or structural change on a certified aircraft and it's what distinguishes a permanent, supported aircraft system from a portable workaround. Tamarack's STC application for Tamarack AirConnect is currently under FAA review. Customer installations will begin once the STC is granted.
No. The speed restrictions on consumer and business-priority Starlink plans, which can cut service when ground speed exceeds 550 mph, apply to portable setups, not to properly certified aviation installations. Tamarack AirConnect is designed for use with an aviation-grade service plan, which carries no ground speed restriction. Whether you're at 400 knots in cruise or riding an 80-knot tailwind, Tamarack AirConnect operates without interruption.
Yes — and this is one of Tamarack AirConnect's key advantages over portable solutions. Electrically heated windshields and anti-fog window elements are known to block Starlink Mini signal, making dash-mount setups unreliable or completely ineffective on some aircraft. Tamarack AirConnect's antenna is mounted securely with a clear and unobstructed view of the sky regardless of windshield type or cockpit window configuration.
The initial Tamarack AirConnect STC program covers all models of the Cessna 525, 525A, and 525B type certificates — including the Citation 525, CJ1, CJ1+, M2, M2 Gen2, CJ2, CJ2+, CJ3, CJ3+, and CJ3 Gen2. If you're flying a different Citation variant, contact us and we'll keep you informed as additional type certificates are pursued.
The satellite infrastructure that makes Tamarack AirConnect work — thousands of Low Earth Orbit satellites in active service — represents years and billions of dollars of investment. That foundation is not going to be replaced anytime soon. Antenna hardware will continue to evolve, and Tamarack's STC-based approach is designed to accommodate future hardware updates within the certified installation framework. The operators who install Tamarack AirConnect first will have years of reliable, high-speed connectivity while those who wait will continue managing portable workarounds.
You can indicate a preference on your reservation form, but no commitment is required. You will contract with your chosen provider, Starlink or Amazon Leo, separately from your Tamarack AirConnect installation, on your own timeline.
Pricing will be announced at a later date. Reservation holders will be the first to receive pricing information.
Tamarack AirConnect is designed to be installed in approximately three days at a Tamarack-authorized service facility. Exact timing will depend on aircraft type and facility scheduling.
Yes. LEO satellite coverage extends well beyond the US, including across the Gulf of Mexico, Central America, Canada, the North Atlantic, and Europe. Unlike ground-based connectivity systems that end at the US border, Tamarack AirConnect keeps you connected on international legs. Coverage in specific regions is subject to satellite network coverage and applicable regulatory approvals in each country.
